Untitled Dragon Girl Platformer[Game Jam Feb '25]
A downloadable game
Extremely jank platformer that doesn't even track which coins have been picked up between levels. Jump is pretty broken too. So's attacking. IDK. I made it in a weekend.
Controls: WASD to move. Space to jump. Click or Q to attack. Break boxes and collect coins. There's no end state. Just quit when you've seen enough. ESC pauses and unhijacks the mouse, so you can just close the window, which runs at 900p. There are no graphical settings. There's gamepad support too, controls are what you'd expect.
Also there's a bug where if you break a box and go to a different level all the coins remain in the same global position because I made them a child of a persistent object and I ran out of time to fix it.
Also I couldn't properly figure out how to untangle my state machines and movement application when jumping, so jumping is specifically super busted. Though less busted than it could have been. I fixed so much shit you guys and it's still broken.
Made in Godot, Blender and Ableton Live. Uses some CC0 sound effects from Freesounds and also some custom SFX. All music made by me. Textures mostly from AmbientCG.
